mayans also recommended human sacrifice and worshipping a sun god and appear to not have been able to keep themselves alive until present day...
the simple fact is there are certain biological factors that mosquitoes are naturally attracted to with an unbreakable zest, those mainly being heat, carbon dioxide and blood acidity level and moving air simply will not stop them.
scientifically, to repel them you basically have 5 options.
1. a hermetically sealed room
2. a mosquito trap that generates heat and carbon dioxide. they work well but are costly
3. deet
4. mosquito tents
5. fill your room with dragonflies and bats
don't kill the messenger, i'm just out spreading the good word for the death of all mosquitoes. |

If they can sacrifice a human I think they know how to kill a damn mosquito don't you.
I dunno about the theory, I was recommended it by Mayan peasants so it's *authentic* damn it. Maybe it's confirmation bias but it always seems to help.

I wouldn't chance that. It's possible, but open windows is what encourages mosquitoes to enter in the first place. I am not sure about them not liking moving air since they're outside where there is wind as well, and bit the be-Jeez-us out of us out there, too.
And the myth about eating garlic doesn't work nor does consuming B3.
I did try the plug in. Unless, I'm mistaken the results after putting the plug in against the mosquitoes including a few minutes after.
Adventurer 4 Mosquitoes 1. This plug thing might have worked.
I will try it again tonight.
It is funny how the kids freak out from insects in class, even the adult ones. I don't like the mosquitoes because my skin swells up, and the noise they make I definitely hate. I don't like them coming to suck my blood when I am trying to sleep. I am sure you know the feeling when you're in bed and hear a mosquito coming for you. I loathe that:) |

The plug in thing should last 70 days per 'glass canister' thing, so I kept mine permanently turned on all summer, I literally never had a single mosquito bite overnight during the whole summer. I do however remember getting them this time of year, last year, so I'd swear that it works. |

Well, I am not sure I got what you exactly asked me to get, but it worked. It was a big white plastic thing, and you add a plastic thing filled with blue liquid to it. It has a switch, and you plug the whole thing into your outlet. It reminds of those air fresheners you get in the U.S. However, this is for getting rid of the mogee. How often did you have to replace the liquid filled containers i.e. the plug ins?

Yep this sounds very similar to mine, except mine is blue all over with a blue liquid in a plastic screw in thing. They're exactly like the electric powered air-fresheners, that's the best way to describe them. The packaging on mine says 70days per...thing with the liquid in, whatever the word is. My mogi killer came with 1 free refill. It's probably still got a good 40 days left in the second refill, and there shouldn't be any more mosquitoes before long anyway. |

| Enough moving air will work, mosquitos aren't strong flyers. If it's windy outdoors they won't be a problem. I'm not sure an air con unit would be enough though. |
