My fiance is from Cameroon and is a student in Korea. I am considering the possibility of joining him with our baby sometime in the spring. Can anyone tell me what would be required for the baby and I to get an F-3 visa? Will my fiance have to show proof of funds to support us?

Until you are married your fiance won't even be considered into the equation.

F3 is NOT possible for an unmarried couple.

You and the baby can
a) enter as tourists or
b)you can find a job (E2) and bring the baby (F3).

I know we can't get an F-3 visa if we are not married. Guess I should have mentioned that we would try to get an F-3 visa if we are able to get married here or in a third country. So, if he is my husband, what would we have to do to get an F-3 visa?

Change of status to F3 = proof of marriage or family status, proof of funds or employment, proof of legal status in Korea (ARC).

Everyone I know of who has obtained an F3 for family members was employed so I don't know what they will want as "funds" for an unemployed sponsor for an F3 (I assume he is on a D-visa).
