You got to remember Mike is still out there plus whoever Gus's German friends where. There was also some reason the cartel couldn't kill Gus (likely to do with his Chilean background). Walt ain't in the clear yet. |
Mike's a mercenary. He's still out there, but I'd more bank on him getting chummy with Walt. |

Episode 16, Season 5.
The fight is between good and evil and Jesse will need to protect his family. Walt has crossed over to the other side. Jesse is righteous and good. It will be Good vs. Evil in Season 5.
Jesse will kill Walt in the final episode. |

great episode but I was a bit disappointed that Tyrus missed the fact that there was a bomb planted on the wheelchair. We still don't know why Gus walked away from the car bomb but this time decided to walk toward the wheel chair bomb.
Anyways, I was satisfied with the finale of s04. I'm going to guess that S05 we will see Walt as the new Gus that runs his operation from his tiny office of the car wash place? |
As stated before, I think his hesitation in the hospital was due to the poisoning...he had nothing to do with it and realized that it must have been Walt. Knowing that Walt was making moves caused the paranoia.
Tio Salamanca was his Achilles heel...because he killed Gus' lover...total speculation, but his reaction to his first cook's murder was pretty emotional, and a wife/kids were the only thing missing from his perfect cover/front.
With the rest of the cartel dead and proof that Tio was talking to the cops, he finally had justifiable reason to carry out an execution that he had dreamed of for years. At that point he was also more worried about the room being bugged, not bombed, and, again, with Mike out of the picture that kind of security lapse is plausible. |

I just watched the hospital/parking lot scene again. Gus' reaction to the boy being "sick" is pretty cold and boss-like. Once he finds out about the poisoning he becomes much more sympathetic...the walk to the car gives him JUST enough time to process everything. By the time he turns the corner and sees the car it all clicks for him. It wasn't a blind guess that the car was rigged but a careful decision made on a few key facts and intuition. |

Having bought the series on iTunes, they also include commentaries on each episode. You are correct, as the actor who played Gus said:
"As he's leaving, what's eating him up is he hears that voice, "The boy was poisoned. The boy was poisoned. The boy was poisoned." And as he's walking, thinking this and sees his car sitting there - and of course it's where he would park; he would park on the top level with no other cars . . . he would want to get in and out quickly and quietly without being seen . . . but then it just hits him. Nah-uh. . . He knows that there is complicity on Jesse's part. There's the marking, there's the feeling, there's the gut sense: Walter White is behind this." |

How long until Game of Thrones starts back up ??? .. THAT's another awesome show , every week it keeps you guessing.
As for Breaking Bad , it's been interesting seeing Walt evolve over the life of the show. He'll get his just rewards in the end though, I'd bet. |

For those who enjoy some of the actors in Breaking Bad, quite a few of them are in a movie that came out in - "Red State" where Michael Parks (Walter White) plays a crazy preacher cult leader armed to the teeth and have a shoot out with the ATF. Anna Gunn is in it too Stephen Root (stapler, Milton, The Office) plays a local sheriff, the kid from Breaking Bad (Meth head w/beanie) plays deputy. John Goodman plays the ATF agent in charge. The kid from transformers is in it too. The movie moves pretty quick, except for a few rough spots, not too shabby. Good performance by Parks.
Directed by Kevin Smith.

Final season starts on August 11, from what I understand. So what are the bets on whether Walt bites it big time and violently and the kid walks to live life happily ever after? |

most likely the opposite will happen. |

It's going to be great. I wonder how many episodes they'll have to sort that all out? |
