For the most part, I have avoided ASAP job listings- but now that a recruiter is offering me one in a good location, I'm tempted to reconsider.
Because the job is ASAP, does that likely mean the last teacher quit on the spot? (Seems like a bad sign)
Has anyone taken a position that was ASAP? What were the circumstances and how did it turn out? |

Any job is a gamble. ASAP doesn't mean it is bad. Maybe a teacher finished their contract, didn't tell the school they wouldn't re-sign, and now the school is out a teacher. Any hagwon is going to want you yesterday. If they don't, then I would be concerned. |

Yeah, I'd say that in the grand scheme of things my hagwon is pretty organized, yet pretty much everyone is hired last minute. |

I'll chime in with the two above. Could be loads of reasons. If the job seems good otherwise then go for it! |
