I'm being asked to help create a class for our winter session for middle school students. I'm out of ideas.

Currently, we already teach TOEFL writing/ reading/ speaking/ listening. We've tried current events, book reading, and an ESU speaking competition class. They've all failed miserably.

Our students have a problem getting homework done, so something intensive wouldn't work. The class would be three months long, probably once or twice a week. Does anyone have ANY ideas? Or anything you currently teach at your school?

Thanks!
