I believe if that were the case then they would have you on the books as an independent contractor (if at all...)

That being said I don't actually know if there is any such exception.

Maybe someone reading here will be able to clarify.


I've heard the same thing, but there are at least ten full time employees where I work. The boss knows what she's doing and I freaked her out when I called her out on it. I'm on the books as a PC, but my contract only refers to me as an employee.
