| Do you live in a cave? Pretty much any English news site the world over is going to have information on Occupy Wall Street at this point. |
Do you know how to read? Pretty much any English news site the world over is NOT going to have information on "Occupy Seoul". Occupy Wall Street, yes, but I never heard of "Occupy Seoul". |
I think the OP made a pretty clear connection:

Then you don't need to call it "Occupy Seoul" if it addresses "globe".
It wasn't wall street.
It isn't Seoul.
Either you get it or you don't. |

First, OP, wrong forum. Try Current Events.
Second, just answer the question. You could use a nice "Let my google that for you link" if you'd like, but really, it's a simple question. Sure, koreatimes is being lazy by not doing some research himself, but you're being snarky by not just telling him what you DO know. and for what?
Finally, remember folks - political activities are forbidden by your visa status (assuming you're on an E2), so if I were you, I'd keep my distance from these gatherings. |
Thanks for checking in with us pops. |

The Occupy Movement, or whatever you want to call it, is generally being dubbed "Occupy _______", based on whatever people are occupying. The OP was specifically asking if the movement has spread to Seoul, thus "Has anyone heard about an Occupy Seoul movement?" What you don't get seems to be stuff you could easily glean by reading the news occasionally, which you yourself admitted you do not. |

Nice retort to ignorance of history.
The occupation of America was a movement 300 years ago.
You want to generalize crap. It doesn't make your case stronger, just more vague. HOOOO YEAAA!! |

KoreaTimes, you seem to really be missing what is being written.
Please calm down and read what people are writing.

People are so stupid. The protesters are protesting in the wrong place. What do they think they're going to be accomplishing protesting against big business? They should be on the White House lawn and at the door steps of other government buildings across the world--not the businesses. The businessmen don't care, and it's a free world, they can do what they want, earn as much money as they want and NO ONE can make them step down.
Governments on the other hand can be overthrown (see Libya) and that's where the anger should be directed. BUT no, the Obummer crowd doesn't want to admit they voted for a loser president who is IN BED with all of these big business they're protresting against. SMH. |

No, you are bringing up useless quotes. Do you have anything original to say besides copying other people's words and cartoon drawings? |

I more than agree with you. A number of very reasonable posts have been made and if I didn't know better I'd say I'd say I'm starting to suspect someone's just trolling. |

If I am trolling, then EXPLAIN to me what makes "Occupy Seoul" so unique.

There was a response from NORTH Korea, not Seoul.
