Hey all, your NaNoWriMo Busan representative here to remind you: "National Novel Writing Month begins November 1st!!"

If you've ever wanted to write a novel, now is your chance to do it with style (and by "style" we mean "hastily, and with a great deal of alcohol, games, ridiculous goals, and good people")

Once again, we have two groups, one for Seoul and one for Busan--join the group closest to you... or both. Smile As always, NaNoWriMo is a free, non-profit program to get you to write that novel, and I have seen some beautiful novels come out of the Korean expat set, so I hope you do.

There is also the Young Writer's Program for the junior set, so you can do it with your kids or set it up for your students.

For more info, to sign up, etc, you can go to:

www.nanowrimo.org

For our Busan group:
http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/regions/asia-south-korea-busan#regional_forum

For the Seoul group:
http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/regions/asia-south-korea-seoul#regional_forum

See you in November, writers!

At least two former NaNo-ers that I know of are working on getting their novels published (both are fiction). I was able to read one of them and was blown away by it--I'm sure it will be on bookshelves soon. Very Happy

That's great! Anything to get people to sit and do something creative can't be bad!
