Hello. I am inquiring here because I have done some research and haven't had lots of luck. My Korean girlfriend of some time is graduating from university in Korea and searching for jobs. Both her and I would like to go back to the US. The problem for her is finding employment with a company that sponsors her visa. Her degree is in English interpretation/translation from Dongguk university. Are there any resources or ways to search for jobs or internships that would be helpful for us?
Thank you for any insight you have on the topic. |

One possible option is for her to get a Korean-language CELTA equivalent (quite a few unis are offering 6-8 week intensive courses in teaching Korean to foreigners) and look for K-teaching jobs in the US... Another option is to target Korean companies through their US-based websites and look for bilingual positions-- they may offer visa sponsorship. Have you looked at a job board, like Monster, for K-language positions (sales, help desk, etc)? |
