|
|
Hi, I've been travelling around the world by bicycle for the past couple of years and now would like to find work. I've noticed with interest several well-paying Winter camp jobs on the listing page and was wondering if my odds are good for landing a 3-4 week camp job.
I'm a male, 31-year-old U.S. citizen and not terribly unattractive (I've heard rumors that this matters). My FBI fingerprints were sent in a month ago.
Teaching in one of these camps (though I realize they can be stressful) might be a good way to see if ESL teaching is something that I would like to pursue in the longer term. However, I have no previous experience and I will be in SE Asia. It would be my preference not to have to fly up there for an in-person interview if the job availability is uncertain.
Please share your wisdom and opinions! |

waygook.org would be your best friend as far as activities and materials go. |

Yes, I forgot to mention that I have a BS degree.
Thanks for the tip on Waygook...
I'm just wondering how competitive is the hiring for these intensive camps. I meet all of the minimum requirements, but as I said I have no teaching experience to speak of. |

you will get more offer than you can handle if you have all your docs and properly spam the recruiters. the trick is not getting ripped off. |
