It doesn't matter how many cellphones or HDTVs you sell, Korea. You just aren't recognised by the global community, and never will be.

I find it incredibly sad and pathetic that some individuals on this site derive so much petty pleasure from bad things happening to Korea/Koreans. Time to go home when you start to feel that way. |

Yes, their flagship corporation got misidentified as Chinese in a tech zine. It's a tremendous national disgrace and misfortune.
You said it, not me

The fact that you are deriving any pleasure from a minor typo which was fixed within minutes on a blog. . . well that says quite a lot about you. Stay classy. |

Darling (and I call you that from your avatar) I think the OP was being humorous.
One thing that I have noticed with Korea, Japanese and Chinese is that facts get taken out of the equation, and mistakes (typos) become a common occurrence. |

I don't think it is that the OP gets pleasure from 'bad' things.
Don't really believe that supports my mantra for 'clean living'.
But, I find it interesting that many Ks are told by their parents and govts, et al that Kor is the best at many ( I held back from saying everything) things. It breaks their little hearts to find out different and it is quite enlightening to see unfold.
For the record, Samsung is the best at several things. They even build the most expensive buildings in the world! Take that to the bank. |

Korea is the best at ....
America is the best at....
Britain is the best at ....
As soon as this country (and America, etc) realize that you do not have the monopoly of being the best.
America pestos itself of being the best of the best because of economics and politics - but really? Would you like your country being run similar to the American political and economic system?
And do you really think that Kimchi can cue Mad Cow or Swine Flu or Aids or Cancer?
If you do, you nations are kidding yourself.
Understand, that each nation has some good points and bad points. The problem is the America and Korea are soooo similar.... they won't admit that they have any negative points. If you do, you are being unpatriotic. But in other countries (democratic) this is called democracy and freedom of speech.
Go figure? |

1. To whom are you talking??? Much as it might suit you to believe otherwise, 'Korea' is not a monolithic entity.
2.While we're at it, what the hell is 'the global community'? Apparently, for you, it's an obscure tech blog.
3. The fact that you are "melting with pleasure" over what amounts to a minor (and already-corrected) factual error on a blog says much more about you than it does about Korea's standing in the 'global community'.
4. You sound like a petulant child. |
