My E2 visa expires for my current job which is finishing in December. I'm looking to come back to Korea the following March 2012.

If I go back to Canada, how long will it take me to get the necessary documents together for a new E2 visa? Do I have to get another criminal record check if I have lived in Korea 2 years straight and want to come back again?

What is the best/easiest way to go about this? Will 2 months be enough time to gather everything?

Any info would be much appreciated!

If you are going home it is a breeze.
Pop into your local RCMP detachment and request a check.
Send it off to your local Korean consulate for certification.
Get a "certified true copy" of your degree done at the same time.

You are good to go and it takes a couple/3 weeks if done by mail and a couple-10 of days (if done in person).
