Gonna do Seoraksan this weekend, thanks to the great advice from everyone.....just need some warm gear. I already have hiking boots but don't have any warm jackets or hiking pants, only summer hiking stuff.

Where's the best place to get a warm fleece jacket and hiking pants that won't leave me broke? One of my co-workers told me Uniqulo is good. Any other suggestions? I'm at Migeum Station and have to go after work tomorrow, so I don't really wanna venture far into Seoul. Thanks!!

You definitely dont need a fleece jacket for Seoraksan this time of year. There'll be girls there in miniskirts.

It aint Everest lol, but the leaves will be pretty.

You can get long underwear for 1000 won or so, that will save you the money on winter trousers, but it's still hot enough to wear summer trousers in my opinion. I would advice you to have a jacket, but pretty much any jacket would do. My local HomePlus has sales on winter clothes these days in their "event hall", and I'm sure you can find something cheap at EMart too.

Don't worry about buying proper hiking gear. Leggings / track bottoms are fine. Once you start hiking youll heat up pretty quick.

Bring some lip balm incase its windy.
