arrrrrrrrrr ye scurvy dogs! Where ye be stashing yer booty? I'm not asking fer specifics I just want ta know yer techniques. I have trouble sleeping knowing that me booty is just sitting in me treasure hole on a deserted isle in the East Sea. It's not safe from those Japanese pirates. A decent sized safe box, hidden from obvious view, is an interim tactic I use. It just doesn't cut it in a small apartment when there is more than a couple thousand pounds worth of booty in there. Do any of you have any good info on safety deposit boxes in banks. Specifically, sizes, weight allowance (if any), prices and insurance offerings? Thanks in advances me mateys.

You can rent security boxes for around W200K/year at many banks in Korea. Some small businesses have them too, but I don't trust them as they can go belly up. There was a mailbox joint near the Itaewon that happened to. You'd have to check with the banks themselves for the specifics.

Worth the money for peace of mind if you have a stash that is growing.........

Thanks, Helicis. Would she be interested in much larger amounts (such as the ones that have been mentioned earlier in this thread)?

In March 2009, I bought W12 million won worth of palladium from her. At the time, it was about $200/oz. She can handle large orders, pretty quickly too. She's been around 20 years or more.

That's great to know. Thanks a lot, man.

If you are paying 200k a year you are getting ripped off. I pay 40k a year at SC Bank.
