Here's what Consumerslab.com had to say about acidophulus and this condition.
----------------Vaginal bacterial infections
A combination of L. rhamnosus GR-1 and L. fermentum RC-14 (as in Jarrow Formulas femdophilus) taken orally has been shown to reduce colonization of the vagina by potential pathogenic bacteria and yeast (Reid 2003). Vaginal suppositories (which are not considered supplements in the U.S.) containing Lactobacillus organisms have also shown therapeutic benefit.

maybe you saw this from the suspended accounts thread:

Reason: advertising repeatedly a vitamin site and talking about a code one can use for discounts i.e. spamming. It's one thing to simply mention in passing some site if someone asked, and it's part of a thread internally and another to blatantly promote a site in a spamming kind of way.

| Garlic. My friends swear by it. Stick a whole clove up there for a few hours and repeat as needed. Good luck! |

No. I hadn't read that one before now, but thanks for calling it to my attention. Their language is a little unspecific, but they do differentiate between mentioning . . . if someone asked, and it's part of a thread internally and to promote a site in a spamming kind of way.
Obviously, if I were starting OPs called "iHerb is great, use this code", that would be spamming. Or if I were bringing it up in threads where the topic had nothing to do with a problem someone was asking for help with that iHerb could be useful to know about that would be spamming. Certainly, I do not do that. I only bring it up when the topic is appropriate.
So, hopefully that won't disturb the mods, but if it does, I expect they will let me know. I've noticed one poster on here who it seems like everything he posts relates to telling everyone about the latest "hot deal" at Costco. I haven't followed his posts that closely so that may be a misperception on my part.
I do post about other things here that are totally unrelated to iHerb. |
