Care to explain how this law is making it harder for foreigners to enter the country and group us all as criminals?

To TUM;

Technically, it shouldn't make much difference, but we all know how these things end up being mis-interpreted, mis-applied, bumbled up and basically

the cause of more un-necessary, needless, and unwanted hassles for FT's and now hagwon owners alike.

Getting gladder every day that I left Korea.

I suppose that is quite possible. But all I was stating is that (so far) it seems to be a better system than the one they have now. Not having to submit documents every year is a positive step forwards.

It remains of course to be seen if they actually implement it.

I was reading the paper, and it seems that they added the story of the Kyopo who murdered someone in the US back in 1997 and then fled to Korea. He was running a hagwon in Gangnam. This shocked parents, so the Korean government wants to placate people somewhat and make it seem like they're doing something. At the same time, if they make it easier for those who are clean without having to go through many hassles, that would be positive, but it appears that the actions of a Korean-American is connected with the comments made by the government. He shouldn't have been able to come to Korea in the first place. Doesn't Interpol check those things?
