Hi-

In your post you said the monitor does 1080i but the description says the resolution is 1366x768. 1080 is 1920x1080, so I'm a little confused. Does it actually display 1920x1080 or does it accept 1080i input but display it at 1366x768?

Hey there - just checked and it can accept a 1080i signal but will downconvert to 720p. Thanks!

They downconvert to something slightly better than 720p, actually. My TV does the same thing, downconverts a true 1080i signal to 1366x768 (also known as 768p). Actual 720p is slightly less -- something like 1280x720, or thereabouts. Believe it or not, I was able to tell the difference between the two when watching blu-rays (but not regular DVD, or anything lower).

Downconverting the 1080i signal to 1366x768 is pretty much what many LCD televisions do, instead of actually being 1080i.
