They charged the guy at his place of work. Jumping over a cash register and such.

If I was an employee there, my mind would be racing with possibilities.... and grabbing a stick to beat them back just might be one of them.

The hits looked excessive.. but it's hard to calmly judge someone that's in that sort of situation.

The guy spent years in a prison. I am sure there is some residual self-defense mechanism that was triggered when he was attacked. He is out trying to make a life by working a job and this happens at work. And now, the tax payers must pay for it all. Gee, thanks ladies.

The women deserved what they got.

Yes, the cashier took it too far, but these women got off light, by the way it sounds.

Here is the original video, btw. They Youtube one got erased:

http://newyork.cbslocal.com/video/6351271-disturbing-video-shows-cashier-beating-customers-inside-greenwich-village-mcdonalds/

I like how the news story coverage makes sure that you know that he "had a history of violence""that the women were savagely attacked""and that "cashier savagely beat them" I think news channels only glorify what they think the general population will eat up to give them more ratings. If I had a channel my headline for this story would be this

'Cashier defends himself after being assaulted by two women attempting to place harm against him'

Exactly. The first words out of the tv reporters mouth were " Mcdonalds worker attacks female customers." Really? If someone comes at you first are you said to be "attacking" them.

Society has degraded into packs of animals tearing at each other's throats over a lousy, stinkin' grease burger. Oh well, at least we're not challenging each other to duels and ending our lives in the streets over gun battles anymore. Or, are we? Ah right, I think we still are doing that. Sigh.

With Obama pitting citizen against citizen, you can expect more of this in the future. Vote Republican.

I've been to McDonald's many times & never had any broken bones. Maybe because I stay on my side of the counter. Ohhh, I see that he has a high swing speed golfers form.

Dude probably had a huge amount of adrenalin in his system. It was self defense pure and simple. He didn't know if she had a knife, a gun or what. The stupid bitch got what she deserved.

When someone is down and not fighting back (though in fairness, I can't see what they are doing) it is no longer self defense.

Actually, I think formal dueling might have a purpose...if you could get legally sanctioned duels it might cut down on certain kinds of murder...
