i'm am trying my best to teach my students english, but i'm hesitant to call myself a teacher. like the last poster said, if you have no training..... that's not to say that someone can't become a great teacher with no formal training. i'm sure it happens all the time. and vice versa, some people with education degrees are horrible teachers.
me, i'm not a teacher yet. just doing my best with what limited experience i have. |

i just think i could do a much better job if i had some decent training.
(i got my B.S. in business) that doesnt help much. |

You do realise that at one point there were no teachers at all.
How were teachers trained if their was no one to train them? |
