If nobody turns up selling one, I suggest you check out enuri.com or gmarket.com to find the HAC-1100 by Hanil. It's probably the best deal around for an air cleaner. They cost around 85,000-90,000 won, and HEPA filters are less than 40,000 for aftermarket replacements. |

thanks...I google searched it and looked on gmarket but all the links seem to have expired.
By the looks of it the 1100 is a discontinued model.
But they have the 1200 model which is a little more and mostly identical.
Do the filters have to be replaced? Or can the internal one be cleaned yourself on the 1100 model?
Otherwise I`m thinking of going for this one for 145k ish

HEPA and the filters can be cleaned yourself when needed....probably cheaper in the long run....but still considering |

Wow... they did discontinue them. That stinks! I have two, but can still get filters (probably for years).
Here is another decent company, although a bit more expensive than your link:

It's by Chungpung Mugu.
I like your Winix link far better! Good find! |

Washable HEPA filters are not that good. They filter really tiny particles, mostly not even visible to human eyes. Now think about washing that filter with water. Somehow it doesn't sound good to me. |

I have an airwasher that I'm willing to sell as we are leaving Korea. We've had it for a couple of years and it's worked very well for us. I paid 200,000 won for it and will sell it for half that. I don't have the original box but I do have the book. I'm at work now, but will check later to see which model it is. It makes a noticable difference in cleaning the air. |

Hi!
Are you in Seoul?
If so, I have a Bionaire air filter (model number is BAP1175RC)
I bought it from Costco a few years back.
It works like a charm and works effectively in a 30 pyung or less place. I used it mostly in the living room and occasionally in the bedroom.
p.m me if you're interested... |
