|
|
Hello I live right next Noksapyeong Station Exit 2 (Itaewon, HBC). I usually leave my little black daelim 50cc scooter parked next to exit 2 when I go to work every day. Nevertheless it was stolen today Oct 24th sometime in the afternoon. I'm just wondering if anyone saw anything strange when going into that subway today. I have informed the police, but I don't expect much. Even more frustrating, is that this is the SECOND time it has been stolen in front of that station in broad daylight! Last time my girlfriend found it about a week later about 5 blocks away, missing the ignition.
Thought I would take a shot in the dark and post here, mainly because I don't see how my crappy, worthless scooter keeps getting stolen while all the other scooters around there remained untouched. I even lock it up! and it's only worth about 400,000W.
Many Thanks! |

Sorry I can't help
Did you lock it up at all? I used to leave mine without a lock and came home one night to find a police car parked next to my scooter lying on it's side outside the flats I live in. Apparently some kids called the police when they saw some guys try to take it. Leaving it on steer lock may have stopped them getting it away quickly enough, but I've locked it properly ever since |

Generally, it's the cheap, crappy ones that get stolen. |

sorry to hear that. If you give the registration number to the police (from when you registered it) they can often get it back.
good luck! |

Mine got stolen too.
NOTE FOR NEWBS - ALWAYS LOCK IT TO A POLE OR SOMETHING, NEVER FREESTANDING.
Korean gangs go round cities in trucks, pick up your bike (it may be locked but if it's not tethered to something immovable like a telephone pole it's no good) stick it in the back of a van and then use power tools to break the locks and then sell them. |

My motorbike regulary gets stolen on Saturday nights, ridden, and then returned. The only reason I know is that the kickstart is out (I use the start button) and the lights are on (I always turn them off).
It is old, so one key fits all the same model.
I might leave a note asking for the theives to put some petrol in it.
Anyway OP, that sucks and I hope you find it. |
