hey, as the title says, I'd like to take German classes in Korea. I don't know my exact level, but I'm not an absolute beginner. I'm looking for one or two hours a week, something like that, in the Daegu/Busan area. Has anyone heard of German classes anywhere outside Seoul?

There's a German "hogwan" near the immigration office in Busan. Can't find a website for them. It might actually be the "German culture center". They hire Native speakers.

I would imagine most classes would be taught through Korean, so you'd have to have a fair level of that as well. Our language institute had native speakers teaching the German, Chinese, and Japanese courses, but the language of instruction was Korean for everything except the "native English" courses.

I'm planning to head to that area in a few months, looking for jobs around Busan as we speak (waiting for my fbi check still). Once I get there, perhaps if you haven't found anything else, you and I could have lessons. I'm not a native speaker and am a bit rusty on my German, but I took four years of German in high school plus have been to Germany twice. I could bring over some of my German books for you to study as well, I do have quite a few of em.
Just a thought, from someone who would also like to keep up on her German skills.
