I wouldn't say they're terrible, but I agree they're not worth it.

I don't like the sausage patties either. I want proper sausages.

And baked beans. And toast that I don't have to get as a side order.

I haven't tried Suji's but Buttfingers food is decent to good. You also get a lot to eat but I'd agree the prices are pretty outrageous

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you're not North American.

Suji's is rather weak sauce, but Butterfingers is pretty awesome, IMO. Also, considering the serving sizes, everyone I know manages to get out of there for about 25,000 between two people, which really isn't outrageous, at least by the standards of the Eastern Seaboard cities I'm used to.

I love Tartine, but they're really pushing the envelope price-wise. Also, I was there two weeks ago, and they had a sign out saying that they were serving brunch, but when we went in they weren't. Poorly done, IMO.

Holy s***!

I think cheap bastards would go to All-American Diner. If it's all made from scratch/organic/some other fancy schtick, fair enough, but if it's Costco items being used, that's...that's... Shocked

Tartine imports a lot of its stuff. If you haven't tried it, I say go. I've never had their brunch, but the pies and breads are great. The chef takes pride in the quality of his stuff. If he can't get a specific item, he takes it off the menu, rather than substitute ingredients. They even make the butter and preserves.

The City of Roses Diner Breakfast looks pretty good, for 12,000 won. Considering the average breakfast set at the All American Diner is 13,000 won, with crap service, I'd rather bring my custom to Tartine.

When I don't bake bread, my husband LOVES the Sourdough Cheesebread.

I started to write more about how the mid-range meals seem okay enough but got tired of thinking about it so just hit the back button. I do that quite a bit.

I almost did it just now. Smile

28k? GTFOH. That would cost you a fiver back home.

Wolfhound does the same thing without the crap (waffles and pancakes lol) for almost half the damned price.

This violates the TOS as it falls under ad-hominems when you change someone's post to reflect their opinion, it's rather insulting. It's not fixed. It's messed up and immature and spiteful.
Don't do it.

If any of you guys see this, let us know....I am not really impressed with people attacking other people's opinions like that.

I can't remember the name of it but there's a place in Hae Bong Chong where Pita Time used to be where I got a decent breakfast plus a cup of regular drip coffee for about 10,000.

And I haven't been to Rocky Mountain Tavern in awhile, so I have no idea what they charge, but I think they had a pretty good breakfast as well.

While I haven't tried the Tartine breakfast, and I'm not saying it would be worth it, they're on a different plane from The Wolfhound in terms of quality.
