There's a little trick you can use to buy it from Origin in English using your home currency, as long as you're from the US or UK. Just install Hotspot Shield (US) or Expat Shield (UK) and Origin.com will assume you're back home. Use your home credit/debit card, and away you go.

You pay more but it's worth it for the extra convenience, imo.

Ps3 Korean version is full English. I activated online pass from Korean account in PSN store, downloaded 100kb and it's working on my main EU account. the pass code didn't work in EU store.

I don't understand why it's so much cheaper in Korea. Any ideas?

One would think someone in EA would eventually realize that this "home language of the country only" thing is cheating themselves out of sales. I use Steam quite a bit from over here, and have never had an issue.

Though on a funny note, I recently picked up a pack called the "THQ Hits Collection" containing a lot of games, and one of them was Homefront, which is not supposed to be sold here.

checked Gmarket today and they had battlefield 3 as the PC/DVD version. Had my friend call the supplier and make sure that the game could be installed in English. They said yes. Lets hope for the best.

This might be the best option considering the shit that is origin

Quick question, if I buy the PS3 version in Korea, will the pass code work on my American PS3 with American PSN account?

Nope. You'll have to acquire an American copy in order to use your American account. The Playstation itself wouldn't matter. It's the account that matters.

did anybody have any issues with downloading the expansion pack? I finally got around to it last night from within the game and it froze at 42% download. I was downloading some torrents at the same time so I thought it might have been my internet and paused them and restarted my PS3 (which had to restore the file system) only to have it freeze again before it began to download. I finally got it no problem when I went to the actual store from the main menu of the PS3 itself rather than through the game and managed to find it and it downloaded with no problems. Anybody else have this problem?
