Hi.
I am interested in playing sport (football, badminton, basketball, what ever). I am currently playing some badminton, but am looking to play more often. I have recently moved to Korea.
If anyone is living close to Sanbon (Gunpo) and is interested in organising some games, please drop a line here. Alternatively, if anyone can point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
(I have been looking at the Seoul Sunday Football League)
Cheers. |

Bump...
Still on the look out to play some football (Sanbon/Boemgye area) if anyone knows of any games being played.
Always on the look out for some tough competative badminton games too. Would prefer to play with some westerners for a change, because all the Koreans i play with always criticise my grip and back hand haha. |

Most of the sports bars in Itaewon for example "Sam Ryan's" have football teams and are also the place where teams hang out, most weekends. So thats where to find out more information.
There is a good chance Anyang or Sanbon have teams, however its a summer season so it may be pretty much finished by now until March/April time. |

That sounds about right. They like to show that they know more than waygookins, and use any chance they can get (i.e. holding chopsticks, carrying something, how to sit, how to stand, etc.) Don't even get me started about pronunciation of their so important global language. |

Come on, your comment about their language sounds ethnocentric while you're attacking the ethnocentrism of some of the locals. You undermine your argument when you make such a comment, and it violates the TOS. |
