|

Can anyone tell me whether as a Teacher with an E2 visa if it is possible to sell items on ebay. I'm not sure whether this would be seen as making an additional income and therefore not be allowed??? Any help appreciated, thanks. |

Are you trying to start a business by selling stuff on ebay?
Are you trying to sell stuff on Korean Auction?
More info would be helpful |

Unless you mean mass trading by buying wholesale and selling, then no, no problem. |

thanks for the responses. I'm just trying to sell a few items every now and again to make a little extra money on eBay. Not on a large scale though. |

I hate E-bay.
Costs became prohibitive more than a few years ago. Try craigslist. It's free. Besides, it really angers me how E-bay went after craigslist in a power-play. |

I have been using Ebay for over ten years and still buy and sell things there. My son likes Craigs List as do my parents. To each his own.
There are of course no fees to buy things on Ebay and I find things I can not find elsewhere or things for a good price. I also feel safe when I buy things ( by mail ) with my Paypal account. When I occasionally sell something, I know I am getting the best price and again, know Paypal will give me my money immediately.
The fee is not much - around 2 %.
And, I have never heard of an "Ebay Killer" |

it's 9% plus posting fees which are sometimes free, but round to 10% to get an idea. |

I simply can not believe the OP is asking this question.
Those who do not want to imitate anything, produce nothing. |
