Seriously man it would cost less than 30,000won for a nice motel room in Busan, if you're so poor at the moment that you can't afford that, I don't see how you can afford the money for a coach or train down to Busan.

A motel room in Busan should cost around 30,000won per night, a train from Seoul to Busan will probably cost around 30,000 (slow train) or 50000 on the KTX (Seoul to Busan in 3 hours).

Are you from the UK? (I'm guessing cos you said so because of 'cuppa', but then I guess that could be Aussies too). If you are from the UK, you said you were tight for cash cos of paying for studies..do you mean student loans? If you're from the UK and you're actually paying those things back you're mad!

im a SAFA just use different lingo etc.

hmmmm so before i even start eating or drinking im looking at 60,000 long distance travel excluding in Busan travel, and about 120,000 accommodation almost 200,000 before entering the place.....

That is why i ask if anyone would give me a place to crash didn't really want to spend that much on a place to just sleep for a weekend

I used the normal train from Seoul to Busan couple of years ago, went alone. In term of accommodation I slept in Sauna, 7000wons per day back then -- easy to find. In total I spent around 100,000 ish for the 3 days but I was doing it cheap though...eating street foods and boozing at convenient stores before I hit the clubs etc.

I am not sure what game you are into, last year Counter Strike 1.6 WCG grand final was an epic, the best final ever imo. Hope they will stick to 1.6 this year instead of that new gay version cs:zero. Anyway enjoy your trip and dont forget to hook up with the Busan hotties.

yeah il probably hit the slow train

but i need to sleep in a place where i can keep my lappie and camera at night charging as i will possibly be doing some free reporting for a site back home in SA (they might pay me a little but not much im sorta just doing it for the gaming community giving something back)

it will be 1.6 nothing new about it thank gawd, League of legends, Starcraft (those 3 are my main interests) as well as warcraft 3, cross fire, special force, world of warcraft (beh not a fan) and FIFA

so i only really care about the first 3 titles and to see all the big names playing them live.

im sure i can cough up the cash but would like to save as much as i can and enjoy the parties at night Very Happy there are two big parties at the event.
