Recently obtained a PS2 with an American plug. Will it run fine with a standard little outlet adapter, or would such a device require an actual converter?
Thanks. |

Have one myself, since PS2 has region lock.
I've always heard that it's a bad idea to use a converter long term, especiall for electronics. But I don't personally know any horror stories. |

Thanks for the response. By converter do you mean simple plug or the fancy transformer gizmo? Cheers. |

The converter is the plug adapter.
The transformer is the box thing.
I got a transformer I use both for my PS2 and Nintendo DS and it's worked fine. |
