Aw, I have always found the service there decent. Must have been a new staff or an off day.
When you cook your own fry up at home do you enjoy it?
I ask because I lioe a fry up when someone else cooks it but the strangest thing is that if I cook my own, no matter how well, it always seems lacklustre. |

been to the american diner 4 times bc friends liked it even if i don't. bad service every time. food served cold and one person always waiting for 15 minutes after everyone else's food is served. either we all wait and it gets even colder or they sit there like an idiot with no food then have to eat quickly bc we've all finished. that place sucks and i'll never go again
dont know about your cooking skills but my fry ups rock |

No, the reason I say it's strange is that my cooking skills are ideed very good. Guess I just prefer having things done for me and that's what makes them taste better!
I do make the best sirloin steaks I've ever had though |

fixed
they are both terrible in my opinion and horribly overpriced. |
This violates the TOS as it falls under ad-hominems when you change someone's post to reflect their opinion, it's rather insulting. It's not fixed. It's messed up and immature and spiteful.
Don't do it.
If any of you guys see this, let us know....I am not really impressed with people attacking other people's opinions like that. |
Whoa! I just saw this. Thanks, Enrico Palazzo. |

There is a Suji's Deli in the Sinsegae Department Store at the bus terminal station, I believe. I know a guy who worked there for a short time. He said their preparation methods are not nearly the same as westerners would prepare their own food, and as such the flavor is not what one would expect from a similar meal back in, say, the U.S.
I prefer to make my own greasy spoon breakfasts (pancakes, omelete, oatmeal with all the trimmings, hash browns...). I'd love to be able to do that sort of think as a business in Korea, but it's such a huge risk starting a business. I asked a class of 5th grade students one time if they'd love to go to a pancake restaurant and they all exclaimed how gross they thought pancakes were. I see waffles everywhere, but have only seen pancakes in probably one coffee shop (in Gangneung on the East Sea - really delightful pancakes, actually) so far. I even cook for our school's dormitory students and unless they have chocolate chips, they hate pancakes and muffins, too. To each their own, I guess. |

Wolfhound has been tried and gets the thumbs up, even at just under 14,000 with the coffee.
Next I'll have to try Geckos. Is that the place opp. Taco Bell in Itaewon?
And Rocky Mtn Tavern. Think I've been there once. Sinchon someplace, right? |

I think you're thinking of another Canadian pub, Beer O'Clock. RMT is straight down the street from Exit 3 in Itaewon, pass the fire station and it's right after the long stairway on your right, on the second and third floors. |

I've always liked Original Pancake Story in Hannam-dong.
Small place with only a few tables but great food. |

Yup. Now they don't do a fry up per se. More continental with American touch.
I used to get the dish that was scrambled eggs with bacon and peppers, toast with jam and a coffee. Think you get a hash brown too. Can't remember really as I lived in the 'twon back a few yrs now. Think it's about 8k for that. Nice to have out on the balcony when the weather is good. |

My husband told me that the new bar that's opening up in Art Center (O
Malley's) is going to do fry ups. They're having an opening party this Saturday. |
