I never had to submit a background check when I applied for my F-2. I received my ARC in about 15 minutes. Even if the arrest shows up on your report, that would only prevent you from getting a public school job. You should still be ok for hagwons, private universities, etc.
Edit: Just read that the rules have changed for next year, so forget that last sentence. I wonder if the rule also applies to Unis? |

Hakwons don't have to follow the MOE rules and stipulations, correct? F-2's would have to get a background check for a public school, but does he need all the CBC/apostille crap for hagwons or after school positions, too? |
That seems unlikely unless working for a kids Hakwon perhaps. |
