I wouldn't like to lose the sixth sense because I just love seeing dead people.

And without a sense of balance, well, you'd just falling down all the time, annoying and painful.

No sense of touch = paralasys.

Let's remove it from the poll as it just doesn't work.

Paralysis is the loss of muscle function, which can be accompanied by sensory loss, but not always. It is possible to feel pain to a certain degree, or not at all, in the area that is paralyzed. A para/quadriplegic can still feel pain on other parts of the body.

Not feeling pain is very different than not feeling anything. You'd technically not be paralyzed, but with no feedback from movements, you'd be limited to what an infant can manage. Waving your arms around maybe. Kicking your feet. Turning your head.

I think a more interesting poll would be which of the 5 senses would you be most willing to lose. I would chose taste.

agreed, taste would be the easiest to go without; hell I'd probably be able to eat healthier if I couldn't taste my food since there'd no longer be any reason to eat unhealth food, and all that horrible tasting healthy food would be that much easier to swallow.

As for couldn't go without, I choose touch, life without the physical joy of sex wouldn't be worth living.

I'm pretty much a total wantonly promiscuous (male) trollop, but I would choose sight over touch any day of the week.

I thought about this a lot and decided I would definitely give up only the sense of sight.

I am sensitive to unpleasant and very pleasant sights and that has gotten me into so much trouble.

also, imagine telling every woman you meet that you can only see with your hands and you would like to look at them for awhile. Twisted Evil

It's impossible to have no sense of touch, isn't it? You'd make a good fire fighter though.
