|
|
Sorry, I know these questions are asked a lot but looking for a simple answer:
My Contract finishes on December 9th, 2011
My ARC expires on January 11th, 2012
I am Canadian
What steps do I follow, and what paperwork do I need, to do the following:
1) Sign a new contract with my current school
2) Sign a new contract with a DIFFERENT school
Also, for scenario 2), by what date must I sign with the new school.[/i] |

Sign / extend with the same school:
ARC
passport
new contract
application
fee (30k won)
letter of guarantee (sponsorship form from the employer)
(Copy) business registration from the employer.
Can be done any time within your last 60 days of your ARC and up to the end of your current contract.
Sign with a new employer (after your current contract completes)
ARC
passport
new contract
application
fee (30k for extension of ARC + 60k for transfer of employer)
letter of guarantee from new employer (sponsorship form)
(Copy) of business registration from new employer.
Can be done during the last 7 days of your contract (after Dec. 2) and up to the expiry of your ARC.
Must be completed before your ARC expires or you start again from square one with a new visa application.

The excellent, concise information I was hoping for.........just your average ttompatz post.
But as a follow-up; do I need at any point in the process:
1) A new Notarized/Consular Seal CBC (I have but it's a year old)
2) Transcripts (I have)
3) Notarized/Consular Seal Degree (I have)
4) For signing with a new school: a LOR (not a problem to get) |

1) maybe for the POE under the new rules (come into effect next Feb) but NOT for immigration or an extension.
2) no.
3) see #1
4) not unless you are trying to leave a contract early.
