Anyone play?

I'd be up for some online FM 12 action, as I'm finding it hard to get decent game-time with mates back in the UK..

I've been a huge Football Manager fan for years and years...and years...but never tried the online thing. How does it work?

It's quite easy to set up, and I've always found that a bit of competition makes the (already awesome) game more interesting.

Give me a shout if you might be interested.

It's too addictive. Championship Manager (as it was known back then) almost cost me my undergraduate degree.

Tell me about it. If id only spent as much time studying as i did trying to integrate dario simic and ibrahim bakayoko into the villa team for the 20th time i might not be stuck teaching english in south korea.

Been playing since Championship Manager on the Amiga.. Damned if I'll stop now!

Ah! The days of getting Bogdan Stancu and Gabriel Torje on the cheap.

When was that?

The best in the franchise was 97/98. That was an awesome game.

OP, I've been playing religiously since it came out, but I'm leaving Korea in a few days.

I was at uni so it was around 1999/2000. That's when players like Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos etc were all at their peak. I remember playing as Liverpool with Robbie Fowler and Batistuta up front. They both bagged 40+ goals each a season, lol.
