What do you reckon is the best/best deal, the fresh(ish) Australian ground beef or the frozen 100% ground beef patties? |

Speaking about Costco, where can you find one in Korea? |

get the ground beef. then you can make you own patties OR you can make:
-lasagna
-nachos/tacos/fajitas
-chili con carne
-meatballs
-meatloaf
-shepherd's pie
-calzone
don't blow your options! |

We used to buy the patties, but switched to the ground beef. For one thing, the price went down quite a bit. For another, the patties seem fattier and tougher.
Fresh GB all the way. |

I have to agree. I tired the frozen patties recently when they were on sale and they are definitely tough. |

That goes without saying, but I'm curious how it compares with the prices at High Street Market (which are the best I've found anywhere in Korea). |

Wow, that's a lot more expensive than High Street (8,500/kilo), though it's hard to really compare without knowing the quality of each. |

I think I'll need to check out High Street Market and try their ground beef. I'm assuming it's US meat. Aussie meat is nice and all, but not as cheap as a rule. |

A pack at Costco in Daegu which is about 2 kg runs 18-22,000.
It's not that fatty and doesn't cook down. If I get a kg from e-mart or a local butcher it's gonna be about 20,000. |
