Some background:
I've been in country for 3 years. This past March I was able to renew my current visa but all I had was the Apostilled FBI check. They said it was okay and to give them the Apostilled degree when it came in the mail. I did this.

Fast forward to now and I may receive a new job from a new employer soon.

Will I just continue with my same E-2 visa, just with a different Employer OR will I have to receive a NEW E-2 visa with them?

If I continue or receive a new visa will I have to submit ANOTHER Apostilled FBI check?

I'm currently engaged to wonderful Korean woman. Would it be possible/helpful to switch to the F-2 visa now?

Thank you for your help dave's, sincerely. I'm kind of freaking out about all the misinformation from people.

A simple transfer of your visa should not require new documentation.
A new visa may require new documentation.

Changing to an F2 changes your sponsorship but may not necessarily get you out of needing the CRC or degree copy (see threads about the new MOE requirements).

Thank you again for your sincere help.

I had my co-teacher call immigration and they said that I required a new federal background check. Even staying on the same visa with the same school.

HOWEVER, I don't believe she had my ARC information handy and just stated my name. The immigration office just gave her the spiel about needing one.

I called the English language service and had them confirm CHANGE OF EMPLOYER or having the SAME EMPLOYER did not need ANOTHER set of documents. I would also just continue on my same, current E-2 visa.

I freaked when she told me and with the recent horror stories on here about immigration needing a new set from some foreigners.

Thank you again. I'll stay on top of the situation for now, but at least my mind's at ease.

Also along these lines, I have given immigration my FBI CBC, but I will change jobs in March. Do I need a new FBI CBC, with the new job?

As I understand, filing it once is enough. Am I correct?

You should be fine for a visa transfer (e2 to e2 or e2 to D10 to E2).

IF you try to get a NEW visa E2 to tourist to E2 you MAY need a new set.
