I recommend not going. Usually the ribs are pretty cold by the time you get them, not to mention you have to buy beer to get the ribs. Then there is a limit to the number of ribs you can have per beer. It is also really crowded.
Go about 5ish if you want a place to sit. Maybe 6 at the latest. |

I think it's worth it. Who would go to a bar to eat ribs without ordering a beer anyway? It's like 6600 won (Ok, fine, double that if you want to completely stuff yourselves and not be able to finish all of your food) to feed two people, plus beer which is reasonably priced enough compared to other venues.. And they're good ribs too, even if they aren't always piping hot (I've never had them come out completely cold, though)
And yeah, try to get there at 7 or before. |

I'd say go around 5-6 to get a place to sit. The ribs are decent but both times I went the service was absolutely atrocious. |

The same people who go to 3 Alleys and nurse a beer for hours. |

I'd be interested to hear more about the service. The few times I've been to the joint the servers did a nice job of making sure I always had a fresh brew in front of me (almost too nice of a job, as the inquiries got to be a bit annoying, but overall I appreciated the attention). However, I've never visited on rib night; sounds like a different ballgame. Does the place stay hoppin' into the wee hours or do people generally clear out once the special ends? Would be nice to find a nice Tuesday night watering hole. |

Once they finish showing the Monday night game it tends to thin out a bit. |

went last night--- first time ever going to sam ryans or 3 alley after almost four years here.
showed up at 815 or so... place was packed but found a table easily enough. right away someone took our order... a beer and ten ribs for 7,500. had two rounds (beers and ribs)... service was great--- napkins, etc... super friendly servers.
ordered our second round at about 845 or so... came out pretty quick again... finished that round, and at 915 or so she said there were still heaps of ribs left.
the ribs werent PIPING hot, but they werent stone cold either.
all in all, I'd do it again. |
