I know. I just love long road trips on my bike and want to see some Korean countryside firsthand... |

You live in Suwon, no wonder you're so grumpy all the time ... |

Sorry, it's just a natural impulse to pick on the weak members of the herd, it keeps the herd strong ...
Plus you're just so fun to hassle ... and if I remember rightly you do it to me too whenever you have a chance, and not just me but New Zealand and New Zealanders as a whole ... |

I know some guys who used to travel to different cities all the time. They said it was fine. They just said to watch the side roads at night. One of them got ran off the road by a drunk and broke his hand.
Suwon to Pusan sounds like a pretty far ride though. Good luck if you are planning to do it. |

It is very doable. Get yourself a good road atlas and take the local roads and highways. You can't take a bike on the expressways, as you know. I think a good road atlas is key here. |

I rode from Daegu to Busan...Not quite so far i Know.
The back roads are really nice actually and in good condition...I took it easy and did it over two days. The only problem I had was with swarms of dragonflies which seemed to just hover in the middle of the roads....I ate several.
Haeundae beach also makes a fitting ending to a long ride. |

That's just not cool, even if the guy does generally troll the board.

Going between cities isn't too hard. You should bring a map. I used to drive between Suwon and Cheonan from time to time, and that trip alone took almost 2 hours at times. Highway 1 has a lot of traffic on it, especially during rush hour. Osan in particular is pretty heavy.
I had meant to drive down to Daejeon on Route 1 some time, but never got around to it, due to the weather getting pretty cold.
Going to Busan? Of course you can do it, but it's going to be one hell of a long ride. You better set aside a full weekend at the very least for it, and that's if you're riding hard. |
