The FCO are taking the mick. 30 to rubber stamp a document that they require to already be authorized by a solicitor. I hope they lose their jobs in the swinging cuts. (after my application is completed) |

I had to get mine done in the summer, now I need to get a whole new set done for spring. Fantastic! |

Some uni jobs require both be apostilled for some reason. I'm sure it's completely unnecessary and not required by immi! |

Well considering they actually process them pretty quickly, its not too bad. However, there are plenty civil servants who do more wasteful and pointless jobs than the legalisation office. I think all the "Equality for Tree Planting" type jobs will go first. |

Yeah, I'm in the process of getting two documents apostilled. So thats 60 quid, plus another 25 pounds to have it returned with international postage.
However, according to their website it takes just a day to process, which is a pretty quick turnaround. All things considered I would much rather the UK process than the American one. It may be expensive but at least its relatively easy to do! |

Quick process? You'd think so when they already have solicitor stamps to verify authenticity and they literally just have to staple a piece of paper to the thing. |

MA, BA and Crim check.
Both as in both degrees.
Not sure I'm going to get a job anyway, it's so difficult once you are out of the country, I've been quite shocked at how three years experience + MA + CELTA is worth nothing if you're out of the country. |
