It's very possible to finish college at 21 but it's not common. I knew 2 people that finished in 3 1/2 years. They always took classes and in the summer and winter breaks. One was pre-law the other a teacher.
Parents are encouraged to start kids in school by the age of 5. However some parents think it is beneficial to keep them out until they turn 6. Most people graduate HS at 17-18. |

Cable/Internet - 65,000
Electricity/Gas - 200,000
Student Loans - 430,000
Savings - 250,000
left over - 1,155,000KRW
And that doesn't include grocery shopping for food, household products, occasional new pants or shirts when needed. So exactly how am I supposed to save 1 million won a month and live on 155,000?
Yeah. Wrap your head around that frog boy. |
You wouldn't be living on 155,000. You already have 250k marked as "savings", and all your bills are paid. 400k/month to buy food and other misc stuff is not a hardship.
Living with your parents doesn't magically make your student loan disappear.
I used to save 2 mil/month, but this year I kind of don't care any more and have no roommate, work no overtime, and eat whatever I want. I've only averaged 1.3/month in savings since March. Terrible. I'm a lot happier in general though. |

All you have to do is take some AP courses in high school and do a decent number of credit hours each semester (15-16). |

| Normal age is 18 or 19 however ive seen some 20 year old seniors, and i graduated when i was 17 so thats about right. And college can be finished in 3 years IF you are lucky and go full time (including 2 summer sessions) this is costly and only those who had the money for it could do it. most people take 4 - 5 1/2 years or like me take 6 because they screw up a year partying and being stupid lol |
I think it depends on the school you went to. I went to a top ten U.S. college. I can't think of a single person in my class that took more than four years to graduate. The majority of us were aggressive over-achievers. Heck, I took so many community college courses in my spare time, that I had a two-year associate's degree by the time I graduated high school. Then I triple majored in my four years in college. I could have technically graduated college in two years if I just wanted out.
A few years ago, I taught a student who graduated college when she was 17, with a near 4.0 GPA as an engineering major. She told me that there was a freak of nature at her college who graduated at 11 years old. At nine years old, that little girl had a higher SAT (upper 1500s) than either me or my student. |
