|
|
Quote: |
Chris Birch, 26, was straight and ENGAGED when the freak accident switched off his affection for the opposite sex.
The Welshman was showing off to pals when he attempted a back flip but ended up breaking his neck.
He endured a stroke during the ordeal and was rushed to hospital where his family including his fiance waited anxiously for news.
But when he came round he fancied GUYS instead of GIRLS....
The transformation even meant the bank worker felt the need to change jobs and he became a hairdresser.
Chris, of Ystrad Mynach, South Wales, said: "Suddenly, I hated everything about my old life. I didn't get on with my friends, I hated sport and found my job boring.... |

He was probably a deeply closeted gayer before the stroke. |

Yes, a brush with death and he realised he had to live his life to the fullest. I imagine he was in the closet and this gave him a change to be out - with an excuse. |

Me too. Seems like it would at least take more than one stroke. I've heard of two pump chumps but this guy's even faster than that. |

Anyway, the title should read "Stroke changes man into 1980s gay stereotype".
This might come as a shock to Sun readers, but lots of gay people have jobs other than hair dresser, and lots of straight folks cut hair for living. And get this, gays even like sports and have straight friends! I know, it's like believing the biggest rapper is white and the American president is black. Sexual orientation is just a small part of a human, it doesn't dictate your whole life down to your job preferences. The play to such a pathetic stereotype implies the fabrication of this story. |

I think nobody has addressed the obvious here: the possibility that homosexuality could be caused by brain damage. |

These people do exist. I have a gay cousin in Singapore and he seems to be checking all the boxes for Stereotypical Gaylord of the Decade. He has the effeminate lisp and mannerisms, keeps his body and hair in trim at all times, hangs out with the girls, is a qualified hair stylist, teaches fitness classes and his apartment is spotlessly clean with lots of cushions and cuddly items.
Despite the above signs, he has never told his family about it and it has never even crossed their minds that he is gay. He is firmly in the closet, whilst still being fabulously queer. |
