Anyone wearing the poppy? Maybe not. I like poppy. He was well read.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields. |

If I could find one, I would. Guess I'll stick a pepero through my button hole (is that what she said? probably) instead. |

I got mine from the Canadian embassy and have been wearing it all week. Then it rained this morning and I switched jackets, forgetting to bring the poppy with me. |

Them and the damned horse they rode in on imo.
Some people just don't know how to make friends do they? Want to live amongst us and put down everything we stand for.
