ok...thanks for the reply.
guess the korean government has nothing better to do with their time or money (except maybe impeaching presidents). I would think there are bigger issues to worry about in this country....but anyways..
i'm not really worried about someone ratting me out...especially since i just do privates for my drinking money. i never heard of any korean-americans getting busted though...only ever hear of some getting forced into the military....
is there some kind of reward for telling immigration who these people are? |

Its not a question of bigger things to do Jurrassic.
Its a simple question of un-taxed income...which of course no government on Earth likes!
Ultimately, the laws will change and pvts will become legal. Then people doing them will have to declare their income and pay tax on it.
Simple and easy.
For now they remain illegal. Its a risk calculus to do them.
If you feel you have very little to lose and would not be overly saddened by being deported and banned if you get caught then its cool.
For some, there is a question of having too much at stake to risk it over a few extra won.
In my case its a combination of simply not breaking the law, of not taking chances with what I have here and that I value my free time way too much to be running around outside my regular teaching hours to go and teach some more. |

yeah...i'm not really worried about getting caught for one private.
i have an f-4 visa, which allows me to work most anywhere...i just have to inform the gov't of my extra income...which i haven't yet |

| I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that it was perfectly legal to teach privates on an F-4. |
