I'm applying for GEPIK and contacted a recruiter a few weeks ago with resume and photo, and they said they will help me look for a place. I didn't have any other documents ready to send them at the time. This week, a different recruiter got in touch to say they would be happy to help me find a GEPIK placement, and they want me to send them copies of my letters of recommendation.

I know that having more than one application results in immediate disqualification. Is having two recruiters considered 2 applications? I have not submitted any documents so far other than resume and photo to both recruiters.

How should I proceed?

Don't worry about having 2 recruiters at the moment.

If 2 applications (visa documents, etc etc) arrive on the desk of the board of education then you are in trouble and will be disqualified.

you now have to decide which recruiter you want to select, and proceed from there.

You can get a GEPIK contract through multiple recruiters. I had a very nice job, which was the only one I stuck around for the full year.

If everyone just applies and disregards this 1 recruiter rule, then they will have no one to hire. I don't understand why people put up with this crap.

I 'think' your letter of recommendation has to be sealed and they are a part of your visa application.

Ask the recruiters at what stage of the process they are, you would be unwise to take general advice from a forum, if they are in the process of submitting your file to GEPIK, drop one of them.

I have asked the recruiter but thought I would post on here as well.They've asked for a scanned copy of my LOR. I'll update when I hear back from them.
