Francis Bean ( no photo yet ) is a 6 month-old all-black female kitten rescued from certain death on the streets a couple of weeks ago. She spent a week at the vet, and is currently being fostered.

Her current foster mom will be leaving Korea at the end of November. Francis is having a hard time adjusting to life on the inside, and needs another kind, patient foster to help socialize her so that she may be adoptable. Ideally, the foster would be able to keep her for several months at least, so that she has time to relax and adjust. The poor little thing has been through so much.

I'll be honest. She will probably hide during the day, and you won't be able to pick her up or pet her, at least not for a while. She needs time to feel safe.

I am not able to foster her myself due to my own cat being extremely aggressive with her ( I tried!). However, I am willing to help out financially with any food or vet visits while you foster. Should you be willing to adopt Francis permanently, I will pay for all her first vaccinations.

If you are planning on being in Korea for a while, and would like to help this sweet little hard-luck kitty get comfortable around people, please message me here or email me at [email protected]

If you have a soft spot for scrappy little survivors, and don't mind not having an instant lap-kitty, please get in touch. She is available for long-term fostering or adoption, and I will help with whatever you need to make that happen.

bumped, plus new info:

Francis Bean last night approached the foster mom on her own last night for the first time. She also attempted a little hair-play while foster mom was sleeping. Very Happy Progress!

I have a photo I can send by email to those interested.

I'll ask my wife, but don't get your hopes up. Sad

Post pics! Very Happy (Assuming you can take a pic of anything other than a black tail sticking out from under the sofa.) It'd probably help.
