I'm trying to find some info, but everything I've found is very contradictory. Any ideas what the specifics are on this? thanks |

If you're married, you must have been on an F2 for two years prior to getting the upgrade.
If you have an F2 the other method, having lived in Korea a certain amount of time and I think taken that language test, as far as I know you can upgrade to an F5 immediately. |

There are several ways to get an F5 and they all have different requirements: marriage, length of sojourn, F2 (non-marriage) to F5, investment, benefit to Korea/Korean society, etc.
pick one. |

Ah, those are the others.
The marriage one, you need to be on the F2 for two years prior to the upgrade. For the non-marriage F2 upgrade, I heard there's no waiting period involved, and you can upgrade immediately. |

You could always ask at the AFEK open boards. I'm sure you would get good information. |
