What is this drag and drop nonsense?

Pshh... Android users gotta drag and drop their files.

With iOS and AirVideo, I jsut stream everything without any dragging and dropping of files. I'm already 5 minutes into a TV show by the time you have plugged in your phone, drag and dropped the file, waited for the copy to finish, and you hit play.

Spanky, I think you have been jaded from too many years on Dave's. I don't think anything about my post was "revelling in the demise of Flash" (sic).

I was simply asking how this is going to affect both smartphone choice and website development in Korea. Both are legitimate questions. I also pointed out KIES because I've read complaints about iTunes on Windows computers (haven't read many complaints about iTunes on Macs) as often as I've read complaints about KIES on Windows. Sure, KIES might be only for OS updates, but you still have to deal with it, right? There are plenty of programs that allow drag and drop (both Mac and PC) for the iPhone, so you don't HAVE to use iTunes. Though not certain, I believe you do have to use KIES to update the OS on Samsung phones, but I could be wrong about that.

Anyway, you are accusing me of something that I didn't do. Read my post again (objectively) and I think you'll see that I wasn't reveling. You have to admit that many Android users have cited the lack of Flash support as a reason to avoid iOS (not the only reason, but one of their top two or three). Losing a "top two or three ability" seems to be a pretty big deal for current or future Android users. Drag and drop is meaningless. In fact, it just seems like extra work. I click one button and everything syncs. Can't get much easier than that. On the other hand, if you like grabbing lots of files and moving them around, more power to you. Different strokes, different folks.

My point all along was that things like drag and drop, extra batteries, and those sorts of things could all be overcome/changed in a fairly easy way. They were not game changers. However, there was no substitute for Flash. Either you have it or you don't. And, many Korean websites do make very heavy use of Flash. I know because every time I visit a Korean website on my computer, I always get a message that my version of Flash is outdated (yeah, I never seem to update Flash because it only seems to create more problems and the version I have seems to finally be running in a somewhat stable way, so why tempt fate?).

iOS users have always said Flash is useless, so there's no point talking about things from their end of the argument. I was just wondering how this changes the arguments in favor of Android over iOS. Battery issues, locked systems, drag and drop can all be easily overcome. How does the lack of Flash change the argument, if at all? Also, how does it change the way Korean websites will be set up? Will Korean websites start making non-Flash sites for mobile users?

I'm really just curious more than anything else, and I certainly never reveled in the demise of Flash.
