Sorry if this is a question already asked. I am trying to bring the North American Thanksgiving experience to my school so that my Korean coteachers and fellow waygooks can all enjoy it. But, having a hard time finding good take-out or delivery options for Nov. 26th. We're down in Ansan but we can make a trip to Suwon or Incheon or south-river Seoul, like Gangnam and the whereabouts. I was hoping to get it from the Yongsan army base but now you need an army guy to actually get the food, whereas in the past you could order the turkey and fixings and pick it up.

Any advice or suggestions would help, I've been to a few websites and there look to be a few options but it's either pick-up has to be on Thursday Nov. 24th or it's expensive or what have you.

So the short: I'd love to know who I can call about getting the turkey (cooked ideally) and fixings for pick up or delivery on Saturday, Nov. 26th. Thanks!

What about the corn? Don't let Squanto down.
What about the cranberry sauce? Don't let my mother down.

From what I can tell you: Haddon House in Hannam had some turkeys available, but by the time we tried to book them (two weeks ago) they were sold out. As far as takeout options go, it actually seems like there isn't much out there, and that's from research by both Koreans and foreigners. Sorry if I'm the bearer of bad news, but it seems like the options aren't really there this year.

If you have the ability to cook a turkey, Haddon House has deboned deals for reasonable prices (25,000 for 3 pounds).

On edit: my buddy talked to the guy today, and at Haddon House they have full turkeys for 100,000 (possibly with fixings). Call immediately if you want to grab one.

Thanks for the link. 9lbs seems kinda tiny for a turkey.

I'm a bit surprised there isn't more information about Thanksgiving dinners yet. Last year around this time, the bloggers in Korea had a list of places to go.
