I would be happy to discuss the reasons one should not work for this school via PM.
Broken contract, illegal practices and lies are just to name a few.

Forget about 'international,' and 'academy.' The fact that it has 'christian' in the name is enough to put me off.

Religion and education are a difficult mix: in my opinion teaching comparative religion is fine, but there is no place for forcing any single religion into the minds of young children - they should be encouraged to explore all the different belief systems, and choose for themselves.

No disrespect intended to anyone who is religious - it's your freedom to believe what ever you want. I just think there is no place for faith schools in the twenty-first century.

I'd be happy to work for the Seoul International Academy of Secular Humanism, though. If there was one, that is. Having said that, it would be quite a mouthful.

I don't get that? You think it is ok for a school that pushes your particular belief and would include your belief as part of its curriculm, but if they practice a particular religion and include that religion as part of the curriculum it is not ok?

The religion is in the freakin title of the school. It's not like they are secretly indoctrinating anyone's kids.

If you don't want to work for Christian schools, which I totally understand, especially if you aren't Christian, then don't work there or send your kids there.

Churches, temples, mosques, missions, etc... provided and continue to provide much of the education for communities across the globe.

Should religion be forced on anyone? No.

Could this particular school suck? Probably.

I wonder how many families in innercity Baltimore would love to have their kids enrolled in that Catholic Prepschool as opposed to going to their other alternative - the secular public school.

To declare that they have NO place in the 21st century, when people should have more freedom to choose for their own families, sounds backwards to me.
