Is this going to be in effect next year and if so, is it required for all teaching positions or strictly schools?
Or is this another one of those vague laws from Korean immi that seems to always have people confused?[/i] |

It is NOT from immigration.
It is from the MOE and is for ALL positions that require you to be registered as a teacher with the MOE/POE (so uni positions would probably be exempt but hagwan positions would not).
There have been a number of public announcements in the press (Korean and English) dating back to last summer. Naver and you should find them.
I didn't see anything on the MOE website ( http://www.mest.go.kr/main.do ) but I didn't spend much time looking either.
