I can thorougly recommend Dong Wu hotel (I stayed there last month for 4 nights)
Ranked #6 out of 332 hotels in Taiwan (tripadvisor)....rooms are huge, breakfast included etc, subway station nearby and you can get to most places very easily by bus or subway. For $65 it's a bargain.

| I stayed at Hotel HD Palace and found it quite nice for the price, especially given the central location. It's also on Agoda. |
